BEeS is coming soon.
An update! BEeS is again in active development! Many thanks to Alejandro Lopez-Lago for agreeing to work on this project, and to everyone for their patience and help coming up with ideas for the program. We hope to have BEeS up and running soon. In the meantime, excuse our broken links. The website is also under renovation, and we'll hopefully be releasing more info and opening up more pages as work on the project progresses. For now, the "Contacts" and "Resources" pages should work, and everything else shouldn't.
BEeS will be an awesome way to integrates an entire quizbowl tournament into one seamless electronic experience. Here are some of the cool things that you will be able to do with BEeS:
- Schedule your tournament.
- Eliminate the printing of scoresheets and packets.
- Print out customized schedules for each team.
- Simultaneously read and keep score electronically on one laptop per room without alternating between windows.
- Ensure that the right teams are always in the right room, and the right packet is always read.
- Password-protect questions in rooms moderated by teams on bye.
- Automatically update stats after each round on a wireless network, or by flash drive or email.
- Host your stats on our website.
Most excitingly, BEeS will offer new stats that have never before been available, based on its ability to collect data about where players buzzed on a question.
